Find a random text you no longer need. Choose words from the text to create a poem. Use a fat black marker to cross out the rest of the text. Share your poem with us.
Example:

Pen and paper
worry about
calm, constantly growing
bedtime technology falling asleep.
This daily create idea was inspired by Matt Miller on the Ditch that Textbook website. If you’re interested in creating blackout poetry digitally (also with students!), check out his blog post and video: https://ditchthattextbook.com/using-google-drawings-to-create-blackout-poetry-in-the-classroom/
