Sure, infographics are all the rage. They look so shiny! The data behind the visuals? Sometimes, a bit iffy. So we might as well play with the tension between what looks legit but isn’t.
Try using Google’s new Trends Visualization Tool to invent some data (yep .. right off the top of your head) and create Data Trend Gif, and then share it in the #ds106 stream. We promise not believe any infographic that comes along today. Or tomorrow, either. We’re awfully skeptical of pretty things in DS106.
