Monuments are in peril! They are either being pulled down by protestors or decimated by the president.

Create, design a monument about monuments, draw it, share it and tell us how it will preserve the monumental stature of monuments.

I got lost in this link, looking at various National Monument sites in the US (mostly under the auspices of the National Park Service)

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_monuments_of_the_United_States

I then tried to use a site that converts a link into data graphs (to create a monument to monuments) but it didn't do much

@creating #tdc4886 The most enduring monuments are made by nature, they will outlive humans.

I choose what is known commonly as "Shiprock" on lands of the Navajo nation. It's visible from the state highway but not public.

I was fortunate once working on a project with Diné College (thanks to @Mickell where we had special permission to visit up close with an elder. It is Monumental!

In the way back I took students down Monument Creek to the notorious Granite Rapid on the Colorado River. It was part of a beautiful 4 night trip along the Tonto Trail. Very Nice. This image ain't mine, but it is from https://thebigoutside.com/one-extraordinary-day-a-25-mile-dayhike-in-the-grand-canyon/
