Taggart was a police drama series based on the character of Glaswegian police detective Jim Taggart, played by actor Mark McManus – who was born on this day in 1935.
Taggart’s catchphrase, familiar to anyone in Glasgow, was ‘there’s been a murder’. Record yourself saying ‘there’s been a murder’ in your best Scottish accent.

@creating #tdc4788 #ds106 Forgive my attempt at a scottish accent. Nobody can do it like Taggart but hopefully mine isn't too bad.
