Use some of the lyrics of two songs with similar titles to create a new poem/song. For example. you might use “Cut My Hair” by the Who, and “Almost Cut My Hair” by Crosby, Stills, Nash, an Young.

The result would be:

“Why should I care
Almost cut my hair
If I have to cut my hair?
It happened just the other day
I’ve got to move with the fashion
It’s gettin’ kinda long
Or be outcast
I coulda said it wasn’t in my way
I know I should fight
But I didn’t and I wonder why
But my old man he’s really alright
I feel like letting my freak flag fly
And I’m still living at home
Yes, I feel like I owe it to someone
Even though it won’t last.”
