A PrUNebus is a cross between a pun and a rebus puzzle. First, write or find a pun. Next, remove one of the words from the pun and use it to create a rebus puzzle. Here’s a rebus puzzle generator you might enjoy trying out. See if others can figure out the rebus in your pun.
Example:
Rebus answer: lung → mango
Full pun: Ladies, if he can’t appreciate your fruit jokes, you need to let that mango. (source)
