The DS106 Daily Create has been here everyday for you without missing one day, since January 8, 2012. Yay!
The first year, they were tweeted by a general account, but @ds106dc took over on December 9, 2012 and has used he Twitter API since then to find your replies and gather here every day since. Alas as announced just a week ago, this will no longer work as of February 9, 2023 because Twitter will start charging to use their API.
Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead ?

That’s right, Elmo and pals want $ to find tweets. This might be the death of this account? Can we pay respects for the dead?
Please pay your respects in a way that sends Corporate Twitter a message that might change their minds. The Daily Creates will not be stopped publishing here, but without a public API we cannot find your tweets and adding them as responses. Work is under way to be able to pull from Mastodon where we already are posting Daily Creates via @[email protected]
