What can your story say about the MYFest22 theme of “emergence”? Who is emerging? What happens to them? Where do they go? Record and share your story- my new favorite tool for this is Sodaphonic Boombox- a one click audio recorder on the web, works on a phone, and saves your story as a link.
Before you record, look around where you are and look for objects and items you can use to make the sounds. Then think of what kind of action you might tell- the one above might be a writer lost for words, stuck, until they make a change.
This is a simpler variant of the DS106 Sound Story Assignment, the NetNarr Make Digital / Gamed Life Sound Effect Story, and the UDG Agora Recorded Sound Effect Story Challenge — all of these might provide ideas (or distractions)
