Dogtrax draft of a poem with Longfellow, Dickinson and Teasdale

Google sure has lots of strange and interesting AI experiments. This one — Verse By Verse — pairs you up with a collection of known but poets from across time, and offers you a chance to mix your poetic lines with suggestion lines from the likes of American poets Dickinson, Emerson, Frost, Wheatley and others.

Here’s how it works: Go to Verse By Verse and choose up to three poet ‘collaborators’ to share the writing space with, and designate a poetic style and other parameters. As you write the lines of your poem, you can choose lines from the poems of the collaborators, braiding and remixing their work into yours.

When you are done, the site will kick out an image of your collaborative poem, with the poets cited. Share that image of the poem with us.
