Help Todd out. Todd is a nice guy. He has a blog. He loves DS106 especiall for tshirts. Todd has several times shared some ideas about communities in higher education, and he’s always interested in talking about it.

Todd wants to know, “What is a community to you?” What are the important qualities you look for? Or maybe they find you? In the work of higher education, what works in sustaining a community? Do they need to be sustained? For you? For administrators? Students?

What makes a community in general? What makes one online? Express it in words, poetry, music, interpretative chain saw juggling.

Todd says thank you.

A community can a place or a system where people can learn from each other’s interests and expertise and support one another in their curiosities, all for the greater good.

@creating #tdc4923 For @toddconaway who is always ask about communities. I'd boil them down to places for overlapping conversations, where you can speak if you feel or just listen, not bounded by platforms or in/out walls. The best communities are organic, not built.

Mostly, as where you can be part of open conversations.
