Today’s daily create for April 20th was to “Find a photograph that captures the words of Shakespeare. Even better if you can go beyond the literal.” I remembered the Treehouse of Horror episode of the Simpsons from season 4 and the story “Dial Z for Zombies.” Bart tries to bring back Lisa’s cat Snowball from the dead, and ends up bringing the dead to life. In one of the funniest moments from the episode,
Editors note: someone submitted this through the Add a Daily form, thus completely missing the boat.

Homer says, “Show’s over, Shakespeare” and kills the zombie Shakespeare with a shotgun. Before dying, he says, “Is this the end of zombie Shakespeare?” This was a time when the Simpsons was much funnier than today, but I can’t blame the writers since the show has been on the air for 26 years! Another great line from the episode was when Bart says, “Woah dad, you killed the zombie Flanders.” and Homer says, “He was a zombie?” haha
