There’s a famous, and maybe overused at this point in many classrooms, composition by rapper Tupac Shakur – The Rose That Grew From Concrete – about perseverance against the odds. While the lyrical words of the song are metaphorical and powerful, it’s also true that in the real world, many plants find a way to push their way through concrete and cracks in the pavement. There’s a relentless aspect to Nature that one has to admire.
For today’s Daily Create, either share a photograph of this magic happening near you (a weed, flower, tree, plant poking up through barriers on the ground) or sketch a drawing of this happening. Be as imaginative as you need to be.
