@ds106dc #tdc2928 My response for Today's #ds106 Daily Create is a fire truck added to Robin Williams singing Springsteen's "Fire" as Elmer Fudd https://t.co/2XRuSN20Yf #GreatArtTakesManyForms

In our family we had a couple of weird words for normal kitchen stuff.
The words came from my eldest brother when he was still little.
E.g.
Bomsibam would be a can opener (= blikopener in Dutch). No idea why he called it that.
Moellepoel = napkin
Püp = Maggi sauce pic.twitter.com/17vklIgDVz

My grandmother was famous for her homemade rolls at Thanksgiving and other holiday meals. She loved to ask us, "Would you like a roll?" We would say yes, then she would say, "Get on the floor and roll!" #ds106 #tdc2926

#tdc2926 #ds106 My dad has a very sweet tooth, and would always pull a face and say "not enough sugar, Sally" when mum (Sally) gave him pudding. It's stuck as a family saying for something we don't approve of pic.twitter.com/lxWJDVcQiV
