#tdc2662 #ds106 Flora McPuffin has made this. She says it is a fish, in the style of Kandinsky, and her and the spacehopper will save it from the frog and the crane. Flora takes her art very seriously. pic.twitter.com/94WaikARuY

New word: HYDRODUCK
Just today I learned that Loons look like ducks, but they're hydroducks: water-only-ducks.
If a Loon accidently lands on land, it can not lift its body to walk to nearby water. Neither can it run to lift off.

Here is an ongoing, cross-year collaborative dictionary project that my sixth graders have been contributing to for 15 years. Hundreds of invented words. The Crazy Collaborative Dictionary: https://t.co/yvNLO7xWkS pic.twitter.com/9CWbMFkpVj
