First period in university was quite lonely.
Nobody I knew in the city.
All alone on a rented room at an old lady's house.
Luckily my "aunty" (no relative but friend of my mother back in our village) "adopted" me as "her 3d son" & invited me over for dinner many times.

It’s like the library was a second home (this is before research could be done online anywhere) and there were very specific places in the library that one returned to again and again, seeing familiar faces. The library as microcosm of the campus.

I used to draw to kill time in class last year, and for this I’d follow the lines and dots to the end point where it all ends. This one is super weird, usually I just fill the hole page. It’s more unique then the rest of the ones I’ve done, up to you what it looks like! #tdc2803 pic.twitter.com/IePzEMbTtu

Dot can have several meanings in Dutch.
One of 'm is 'something small and cute'
It's 'dot-day' in our house every day.
